Numbers

The redeemed Sons of Israel wander “in the wilderness” for 40 years as their numbers dwindle. No victory! No growth! This is not what the Lord intended. Moses tells us in the book of Numbers how fear in the face of hardship leads to rebellion, discouragement and even despair. Sin results in divine discipline and death. The Lord who redeems can be harsh in His judgments, but He remains faithful and loyal in His love for His people.
